It was the amazing lifestyle of the Northern Beaches that first attracted me when I arrived from Canada almost 20 years ago. Today, nothing has changed and I feel so lucky to be able to raise my family so intimately connected to the bush and the beach. It's my love for the area that allows me to provide such a personal service whether I'm selling a luxury beachside family home or a studio apartment. This, coupled with my passion for matching homes to people, is what has enabled me to become a successful senior sales agent.
For me, the key component of a great agent is being a strong communicator and an even better listener, someone skilled in the art of forging strong relationships. I know how important it is to understand my clients, deliver on their needs and continually seek to exceed their expectations.
The client relationship is always at the forefront of every campaign. When a homeowner places their trust in me to handle the sale of their property, it is both an honour and a privilege; but it is also a considerable responsibility - one that is treated with the utmost respect and sensitivity. At every stage of the process, my vendors are kept fully informed of our progress, from inspection feedback to offers and developments. Being an independent agency, we have the flexibility to personalise the marketing program to meet the unique requirements of the home and vendor.
Community connections are important to me with my children involved in Guides and Scouts. At Drake, we are also heavily involved in supporting charities. The highlight of which is our annual World's Greatest Shave event that sees tremendous family and community spirit with many involved selling raffle tickets, colouring and shaving, along with cake stalls and sausage sizzles, all aimed at maximising our contribution to this life-changing organisation.
